RR2: managed 4 miles this morning, as my second client called and said she was running a few minutes behind which gave me more time to run.

zorbs: I've worked with many people who think that "easy run" is defined by the number of miles they're running that day, not by the pace. I tell them I can run an "easy 10" or a "hard 3" it's not about the distance- it's the effort. lol on the uphill pumpkin rolling, looks like you had a nice day for it. I use a Perfect Pullup bar, which flips down and can be angled away from the door. Then I have people stand at an angle under the bar with their legs straight and do a pullup.

reh: ugh, sorry on the multiple wakeups last night, no fun! How old is DD2? Hope you can all nap today. enjoy the leftovers today. Yes, I am hoping for a short nap today, I have a ton of things to get done while R naps though. He seems much better this morning, no signs of any looming sickness.

Cx2- have you been following a specific core workout/DVD or do you just do your own thing? ouch on the fall! glad C is ok, but it's always a heart-stopping moment when they topple down the stairs. ugh, sorry about the shopping trip drama- I've let a few friendships go b/c I couldn't be around that type of negativity. Is your sister small like you? I couldn't buy any maternity stuff from Target/Kohls/ON because it was all too big, even the XS size. Yay for the clothes for C!

Ernie- enjoy your tempo run today! lol on the slide! R always goes right for the tallest slide when we go to a park, crazy kids! haha ,I know what you mean about the toddler paced walk. Score on all the great stuff you got though! I actually contemplated going into the guest BR around 3am today...

stroller- bummer on the missed run this morning, hope you can get in the miles later tonight. aw cute snuggles. HOpe you can get some good rest soon! it might be a possibility, I haven't poas yet, as I don't have a regular 28 or 30 day cycle, so I have no idea if i'm a day late or not. I've only had AF 5x's since I weaned R in February, and it's been anywhere from 35-45 days apart...le sigh.

Bermy- enjoy your recovery run! aw, sorry that DH is sick, hope he's feeling better soon and that you and D stay healthy! glad the tire fix was a simple one. Enjoy your day out today. I feel like R shot up right after he turned 2 also, suddenly his pants were capri-length!

CA- enjoy your ST and foam rolling today. Your pic from the race on FB looks awesome!!! Yay for M getting up to pee on her own! Ugh, R had a bruise all the way across his forehead for like 2 weeks straight when he was first learning how to walk from falling and bumping into things constantly. wow, nice vacation for your parents! mine just left today for Hawaii!

arm- ha, R is obsessed with my phone too- it keeps him entertained while I grocery shop. hope you can get your run in later today! mmm, I love breakfast for dinner. do the girls have a minimum number of wreaths to sell? snow in the forecast?

becky- hope your case prep work goes well today. bummer on C being sick, hope's feeling better soon. Chin up, tomorrow's Wednesday and Sbux run!

spike-solo runs are nice! boo on the night wakeup! i'd be needing a HUGE latte for sure. good call on stopping for poop, that would have been a messy ride. oooh, have fun on your night away- I dream about spending a night by myself in a hotel. we had the same issue with a bday party last month- right during R's nap time. He woke up early that morning and I had him outside playing hard so thought i'd be golden for an early nap, but no luck. he was actually really good at the party, which was at a park.

Eh- They were "road hunting" basically DH and his friend took Reid with them scouting for deer. If they had found a herd that was easily accessible without trespassing, DH would have left his friend in charge of R for 5-10 minutes while he tried to get a shot. They didn't see any legal bucks on land they could hunt though.

Runnergirl-The hotel I'm staying in is an Indian Casino and the rooms are over the top. Its the same place as last year and they have these amazing steam showers. Last time I took 3 showers during my stay because it was so awesome Smile  I also ordered room service instead of eating with all the work people and ate a hamburger in my bed, wearing a robe while watching trash TV. This will be my... 7th? night away from R since he was born.

spike - he was actually really excited to go to a farm.  Your weekend away sounds divine! unfortunately when we are away, we can't afford nicer hotels..without bedbugs is as good as it gets now.  Our "usual" hotel in Niagara is pretty clean and even the basic room has a really nice jacuzzi though.

cx2 - Stair falls are always scary! And generally happen way too fast for you to stop them. Ugh, your shopping trip sounds like a nightmare. When I go shopping, I like to go in with a plan and get what I want as quickly as possible. I don't enjoy long, meandering shopping trips at all, so a long shopping trip with someone who is complaining all the time is a nightmare to me.

stroller - It's hard to complain about an early wakeup when it's for cuddles Smile Hope you're able to get some extra rest in, though!

bermy - I hate those stupid warning lights. I am sure that, on occasion, they signify a real problem, but every time I've had a warning light come on in any of my cars, I've taken it in, only to find out it's a glitch, or someone forgot to reset something. SO ANNOYING!

CA - Poor O with the head bruises! Babies do seem to have amazingly solid heads, though. There have been a few times where S has hit her head with such a thunk I expect her to get knocked out, and she carries on as though nothing even happened. Your parents' NZ vacation sounds so cool!

arm - I would love to start swimming regularly, too, but the nearest pool is a 20 minute drive. My town is doing a downtown revitalization project and sent out a survey asking what types of business and recreational services we'd like to see and i wrote "POOL!POOL!POOL!" When you say the weather looks horrible, do you mean snow is imminent ?

becky - Boo! Sounds like a bad day Sad I'm glad you have a trail run to look forward to!

spike - Yay for a hotel night! No matter how many hotels I stay in, I'm always excited for hotel nights. When we get invited to events during nap time like that, I usually just play it by ear. If she seems tired, I'll try to put her down at noon and show up late, but otherwise I just keep her up and she'll usually last the whole party, but if she gets cranky, we just leave early. Ha ha, S would totally be one of the kids accosting your dog and interrupting your run.

eh - So funny that DD2 was most upset about dirty hands after her crazy slide ride. My turkey 3-day turkey leftover plan is always: day 1, full turkey dinner leftovers, day 2, turkey melts or turkey club sandwiches, day 3, some sort of pasta dish involving turkey. That usually takes care of all the leftovers or anything remaining gets pitched at that point. Turkey soup is a good one, too, but my DH is not a soup guy, so I rarely make it.

spike - lately when I'm running slower I just tell myself it means I get more time to myself Smile  UGH on the sleep!!  The hotel stay sounds heavenly, I always sleep like a rock in a hotel by myself, it's awesome.  Does R fall asleep in the car?  I'd probably put him in the car at the start of his nap window and drive around till he fell asleep then go sit somewhere in your sisters neighborhood until just before the party and read a book.  I have no idea where in NZ they're going, I do know they take a flight at some point in the middle of the trip.

This is just one night for work. I have to pay half the cost so I don't have to share a room, so it will still be $70ish for the night.

The party is 5 min away from my house at a rollerskating rink, and R is an ok car napper but he wakes a lot.

Just finished 6 miles in the light rain, felt pretty good!  Unfortunately DD2 came home sick from school this morning, I guess she threw up 3 times.  So far hasn't done anything here and I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed no one else gets it.  thankfully my mom is here to help. Smile

CA - awesome she is getting up to go to the bathroom, that was always tricky with my girls!  Oh and they'd just skip the wiping altogether.  I'd see pee in the toilet but no toilet paper and get so irritated.

zorbs - my DH used to be a swimmer in high school so I told him he needs to show me what to do.  I know how to swim, I just suck at swimming laps and get bored or too tired after just a few.

spike - was it dark when you ran?  I tend to run slower in the dark, I think I'm being cautious not to step in a hole or trip over anything.

eh - they are selling a couple different kinds of wreaths and sprays and centerpieces for Christmas.  They look nice in the pictures, so hopefully we can sell some!  I usually have fake wreaths but I guess this year I will have real ones.

rg - they have to sell 18 wreaths!  Seems like a lot.  If they don't we have to pay the swim club $150.  Ugh.  DH told me to send them out around the neighborhood after school even if it's raining, then we'll hit up his coworkers on Thursday.  Yes chance of snow up at my parent's Saturday and Sunday.  Actually rain and snow showers, which to me is worse than snow.

ernie - I told DH last night I definitely prefer the ease of running, just being able to throw on your shoes and go.  Swimming seems like so much work to get ready and dry off afterwards.  High in the 40s, low in the upper 20s this weekend and chance of rain/snow showers.  Blech.  I wish it was either straight rain or straight snow.

armama- nope, not dark. Though its getting dark around 6:30 now, so I'm going to have to start wearing my reflective gear in the evenings.

Trail race - is a half on Liberty mountain.  I have done a 10k trail  but not a half yet Smile  #19

RG:  No sbux run.  Dh is gone and two problems - 1) we run at 5:30 a.m. and 2) I don't have a running stroller even if the kiddo is up.  So yeah, I get to TM run this week. Sad  I know I should stop whining about it, life goes on....

Bermy:  Awe, I hope DH feels better.  C has a horrible cold that I hope no one else catches.

Zorbs:  We only get nice hotels due to K's rewards points.  Growing up we stayed in some pretty shady places.  The kind of motels with the coin operated beds.

Spike:  I LOVE ordering room service and lounging in a pile of pillows when we stay at hotels.  The boys can't sit still so they go wandering while I watch chick flicks.

Arm:  Ack!  I hope you stay well!

I need to go back and check page 1 because I know I missed a ton....
