Spike - sprinklers are a lot!  But so worth it.  Any must sees or must dos in Vegas?  I have been twice, both with a group of girls and both trips were pretty much planned out for me.  The 2nd was a bachelorette party and kind of lame.

zorbs - I laughed out loud at your Vegas story!  I never feel like I belong in a casino.  I can see how you were freaked out!

Arm- Ha, well I didn't love Vegas. I thought Hoover Dam was really cool, DH thought Fremont was really skeezy. Skip Madame Tussaud's. I have a friend that goes there like twice a year and they have seen a bunch of the shows. I know they really liked Jersey Boys and Blue Man Group. I have stayed at Mandalay and at the Flamingo. Mandalay is really nice but far away from everything, the Flamingo was fun because it was right in the middle of the strip, but the hotel next door is being renovated so its noisy (I stayed there last January- The Q or Quad or whatever is being redone, so the hotels around it are going to be noisy and they start work at like 6 am). Our friends stay at Harrah's, and we did most of our gambling/hanging out there. DH made me go to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill and I got a stomach ache, the restaurants in the Mandalay Bay are really good. I hate people, noise, and cigarette smoke, so Vegas is my personal nightmare. The first time I went with DH and his parents (don't get me started on what a mistake that was) and the second time was meeting up with DH at a tradeshow. I liked the Fashion Show mall better than the Caesar forum shops (Joe's Crab steakhouse thing there is amazing seafood though), and the lululemon store is on the 3rd level and there is a Forever 21 that is two stories.

LOL, we have a Toby Keith's here (and I've never been there) so I would hope we wouldn't go there anyway!  I don't like huge crowds and loud music either so I don't really want to go to a club.  My brother does but he's 34 going on 18 and his girlfriend is 26 so they might like it.  I will look into those shows though, I am hoping to see some kind of show while we're there!  The auction we "won" included hotel stay at Planet Hollywood so that's where we're staying.   Shopping sounds fun!  If DH wants to gamble I'll probably go shopping instead.

We played roulette mostly, which was fun. Quickest/cheapest way to get a free drink is to hang out in the Keno lounge- the waitresses seem to pass through more often. Out at the tables there's a higher gambler:cocktail waitress ratio so it takes longer.
