| Notes: | Wasn't too bad until last couple of miles--knee really felt MUCH better, so I do need more stability, apparently. I'm just not sure they are going to work for me. Seam blisters are teeny-tiny and I expect it to not be a problem once the uppers relax a bit, but they are too stiff/stable. They are reported to be the softest, most flexible moderate stability shoe...but it's still too much shoe. Yet my 903s are too little shoe.
I have a pair of semi-flexible insoles that add a hint of stability to a shoe. I think I am going to try these in my 903s. I wore them once in my 826s (neutral) and they seemed to add some structure to that shoe, without having any ill effect on the flexibility.
I gotta find something to work. Right now I'm really at a loss...if I don't find something to work within the next few weeks I am screwed. I don't have much more time to find my race shoe and my long runs are only going to get longer and harder to handle without a better shoe. |
