About me:
I am an Alaskan who lives where the Chugach Mountains meet the sea. The trails take me into the hills from my front door. I run with my dog and a can of bear spray always. "Yo Bear" is my running mantra. I say it in races and people might think it strange but hey, it's a good habit.

Why do I run:
The more I run, the more I want to run. Running has given my life wings.

Why I started running:
To maintain a shape other than "roundish" and to justify drinking good beer.
