The longest distance I have ever run - 21 miles, and with a negative split to boot!
Every once of me wanted to stay in bed this morning and not run, but after going back to bed for an extra hour I got up at 6:00 and did my run.
I ate a couple small wheat bagels as I walked out the door and drank some Gatorade and water. I carried a bottle of Gatorade and a bottle of water. Sipped the Gatorade every two miles until it was gone at mile 14. At mile 16 I ate some Power Beans and started drinking water every two miles until I finished.
