| Notes: | Good 4 mile run this morning following yesterday's 18 miler. My legs were a little sore and I did run this morning a bit faster than I wanted to. I was setting out for a nice easy run but just 1/2 mile into my run a woman came out of a neighborhood right in front of me. She didn't see me and was running the same pace as me. I didn't want to slow down anymore, but didn't want to speed up to pass her because then I would be running too fast because I would need to then keep up the pace (for pride reasons). It was a bit creepy running so close behind her. She then heard me and so I decided since she knows I am there now she too will be creeped out so I passed her. I then ran the entire 4 miles too fast because I started to speed up because of that. I would have crossed the road but there was no place to run on the other side of the road.
I ran a 3.5 mile loop and then finished the last half mile with two laps on the school track. It was nice to run on the track, but I couldn't do it for more than a couple miles. |
