Definitely, should not have run 6mi last night. My was really dogging it this entire workout.
3xHill (steep hill), 3x800 @ 10k pace, 4xHill, 2x800m @ 5K pace.
I didn't even come close to those paces. Kept around a 3:10 800m. That's the best I could muster. It was a struggle just to get through the workout; I was dead last. I'd call it embarrassing, but I'm resilient. Felt like I didn't belong, though. Can't hang.
Would have marked it as a "fail" but I didn't quit the workout and my last 2 splits were actually faster than the first set . . . just not by much. And certainly not 5K pace (at least I hope not).
Feeling pretty beat right now -- hope to make it through the day (need to go to DC) :-P.
