Notes
finally!
first 100 meters I don't remember a thing, although I really had to psyche myself up to start, more than the other races. about 150m I remembered to relax, and I realized I was proceeding into 2nd place (lane 4 btw). somewhere in the third 100m segment I started to tighten up, and I thought that it was too early to be so fatigued compared to the other races. made a conscious effort to reduce energy output toward 300m mark to maintain form, stride length and cadence was probably reduced. just like on the brentwood track, I focused more on maintaining form than anything else, and I watched the clock from 45s to the finish, and I knew I had it. recovery went well.
