Notes

PacNW Spartan Sprint!

The following might be slightly out of sequence, it's a bit muddled in my memory. :)

-3/4 mile of *very* steep hills

-Waist high hurdle

-Downhill and uphill

-30' 80lb weight lift via pulley

-200' slip'n'slide into icy cold waist deep water

-40lb sandbag carry for 1/4 mile

-Barbed wire army crawl through mud and water over continuous 4' hills for 200'

-Firehose spray

-Culvert tunnel

-8' wall scale

-Water station! :)

-10' wall scale

-Series of wall hurdles, crawl unders, and dive throughs

-Culvert tunnel

-Foundation block (40lbs'ish?) drag up then down a hill around 100'

-More uphill running

-Waist deep water/mud trenches 3x15' or so

-Very large (about 6' diameter) tractor tire flip - first obstacle fail, 30 burpees!

-Rope climb, about 30' up out of a 4' water pit

-Up another hill...

-Javelin throw - second fail, burpees 31-60

-Wall traverse (like a rock climb wall, traversed sideways) - third (and final) fail, one of my feet slipped on a muddy block and barely touched the ground. Burpees 61-90!

-Barbed wire army crawl up a muddy hill with hidden rocks and running water streams, about 1/4 mile

-Monkey bars

-Running up another hill, about 1/2 mile, then downhill 1/4 mile

-Vertical cargo net climb up, over, and down, about 25' tall

-Incline muddy board climb with rope

-Fire jump

-Spartan attack at the finish line

And, the end!

When I first checked my rankings, I was 48th out of about 3100. When I checked later, I was at 148thout of 4200 overall, 132nd for men, and 32 for age 30-34! I won't know what the final numbers are for a day or two, but I'm pretty happy with my time, especially since I couldn't even run a half mile less than 5 months ago! :)

MTA: So, final rankings - 237 out of 4036 overall, 230 out of 2800 by gender, and 48 of 624 by AG (30-34). I'm happy! :)
