About me:
I have a wonderful family - great husband, 5 grown children and 7 grandkids. We all live within 30 minutes of each other so we spend a lot of time together. Outside of family, I am passionate about quilting and running.
I don't string a lot of miles together, but I get out there with both feet off the ground at the same time. |
Why do I run:
I run for my health, for personal growth, and to be a role model to my children. I hope to maintain running as a lifelong habit. |
Why I started running:
I started running at age 51 when my two daughters asked me to join them in a 5K. At first I said I'd walk it. Forget that! We all started the C25K program together three summers ago and I haven't stopped. |
