I really think that a threshold run should be mostly at around 160-165, and for that I thought I needed to run 3:55. I guess the first five km was a bit slow, but the second 5 km was all under. It really seems that I would need to run for a fair period at about 3:50/km to be in real threshold territory. But that does take its toll on the legs. Especially that poor old Achilles. Then the right quad was a bit tender tonight. Still, it was a really good run and it was great to have Joachim's help with pacing and company.
