About me: A registered nurse living in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. I live with my husband and orange cat Chewy. I love to hike and travel, and I love photographing my adventures. |
Why do I run: I love what running does for my body and mind. I also think runners have the hottest legs around! Being a critical care nurse can be very stressful at times. Knowing that I can leave the hospital at the end of my shift and go for a run is the most liberating feeling ever. Health is such a privilege. Being around the unwell reminds me that I won't always have my health and should use it to the max while I still have it. Running makes me a better person - inside and out. |
Why I started running: I started running in my teens, which carried into my mid twenties. After graduating from university and beginning my nursing career, running took a backseat to lots of shift work! I have rekindled my love for running recently (March 2013) and am thrilled to be back at it. |
