Notes:
This was a tough week of training, but I did great. I ran relatively even splits given the terrain, but I got outkicked at the very end by TJ. I went through the 5k at about 17:05, and Pete and Norm caught me shortly thereafter. I worked with them through the downhill section where I passed Matt Lane. He wound up beating me by 2 seconds. TJ and I kept trading spots in that final kick but I couldn't keep ahead of him and he pulled away. All in all, I did a great job of meeting my goals. I think that as long as I stay healthy for the next month I should be pretty competitive.
