Heel cup in the Speedstar 4's too soft. I completely wore though the heel liner in less than 100 miles, and it started causing serious abrasion and pain. Got so bad that I had to bin the shoes very early. The other pair did the same, though I coaxed more miles out of them by wrapping my heel in tape and cotton. Not an ideal solution. I've read that other people have had the same problem with Asics, so for now I'm going to have to drop Asics from the rotation entirely. |
