Decent race under my current conditioning. Went out with a goal of 1:46, planning to start at 8:10/m pace and then pick up a bit in the final 5K. Race went nicely according to plan, other than a slow mile 7. I bounced back-and-forth from feeling strong to feeling cashed -- usually my race feel is a bit more consistent. Was able to turn the dial up a notch for the last several miles (8-12) and then mustered a decent final mile (although I had no outright finishing strength).

All things considered, on only 8 weeks of training, its not a bad effort.
