About me:  Married 20 years to Kass with 4 grown kids in a blended family. Distance swimmer in high school in Michigan. Didn't start running until I was 40. Why do I run:  To fend off old man time and to try to keep up with my 20 something year old sons while mountain climbing. Why I started running:  I moved back to Colorado in 1994 and wanted to start climbing the 14ers (54 mountain peaks 14,000 feet or more) and thought running would be the best way to get back in shape. Started by signing up for the 1995 Bolder Boulder 10K and have done it 13 years running. No pun intended! Lately I've been training to start marathons.
