About me:  I thought being "fit" meant I could keep up with the kids all day, run errands, eat well, and not gain a ton of weight as I aged. I have since learned that EXERCISE is different than DAILY LIFE! Why do I run:  My boxer loves the exercise and my knees are stronger than they've ever been. My kids think I'm cool after I tell them how far I've run. My husband likes the new muscles running provides. My brother needs some competition. My body told me I couldn't do it for years, and I hate to be told I can't do something. Why I started running:  It was necessary to be able to complete a triathlon, so I thought I'd better practice before arriving at the race. I found out I really LIKE it!
