About me:  Loser...of 50#s, that is! Sept. 4, 2003 marked the beginning of my weight loss journey. I had hoped to be at my goal a LONG time ago. Why do I run:  Because I have come to love running and want to put some races under my shrinking belt...and I still have more pudge than I care to (and would like to be able to eat the stuff that made me pudgy in the first place). I also like seeing my weekly mileage increase and realizing how far I've come (literally and in terms of my overall fitness) in such a short time. I also have a goal of completing my first marathon in '08. Why I started running:  To make my last stubborn pounds go "buh-bye" and be more fit.
