About me:  July 10, 1998 was my first day of running since 1990. Have run consistently ever since. Favorite running mantra: "Make sure you can make it before you take it." Why do I run:  I do love it so. It's something that I'm very proud of, that I feel I have complete control over. Why I started running:  For quality of life reasons mostly. I began running shortly before my parents lives began to dismantle. I vowed that I would do everything in my power to live a longer and healthier life.
