About me:  I'm an organic landscaper/designer, and, since 2005, a Jewish mother ("Ima"). I love distance running, Latin dance, religion, and local agriculture, roughly in that order. Why do I run:  Running is one of the few things in my life that makes me tolerate and even love my imperfection. Why I started running:  My mom was running when it was a counter-cultural act for a woman in North Carolina. I think I did my first fun-run when I was 5. Somewhere in high school, I owned it myself. It's one of the few things I've brought with me wherever I've gone.
