About me: 
Jogged a bit after work / before school then started more structured running in March 2001. Took an interest in trail and longer races, mostly for the challenge of doing them and spending time in woods and above treeline. Since I had a lot of field work in summer, most of my running was in winter (yes, in Alaska) until I retired in 2005. Since then I've been running pretty consistently year round. Winter may involved lots of snowshoe running.
