About me:  I was a high school and college runner who came back to it in '06 after a loooong layoff. Missed Boston by three minutes in my first marathon (Harrisburg, Nov. 07) and am determined not to do that again. I'm also a Type 1 diabetic and have been for 22 years - been on the pump for six years now. Why do I run:  It feels good when I stop. Why I started running:  Originally, to get in shape for basketball, but I quickly realized that I was better off not stopping my runs just to miss a jump shot.
