About me:  I have been married for 21 years and have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 rabbits. Only one husband. My husband does not run but he is very supportive of my habit and even encourages me to get out the door when I don't feel like it. Why do I run:  I love the way it makes me feel. It couldn't be easier. Lace up shoes, open door, one foot in front of the other. Coordination not required. Great way to enjoy the landscape. The other day, someone noticed my race t-shirt and said " You're a runner". I felt so proud to be called "A Runner". Why I started running:  I was on the treadmill walking the alpine route program and every time the incline increased, the pace slowed down, so I kept increasing the pace setting so I could keep walking at the same pace. When the incline on the program started to decrease, the pace picked up till I found myself running. The rest it history.
