About me:  I'm a Married with children,I live in Georgia, but I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. I enjoy being outdoors,camping, hiking,fishing, and biking with my family. I am fortunate enough to be married to an avid runner. the two of us are not real competitive but we enjoy the occasional race just too see if our endurance has improved. Our goal is to one day run a Marathon together! Why do I run:  I run to keep fit, and because I enjoy it Why I started running:  I ran in school in the 80's and through my college years I ran a lot of 10k races, I did it mainly to stay fit and because everyone seemed to do it back then.. I had kids, then menopause hit and i became somewhat lazy( I am active with my kids on a daily basis)..I got tired of being overweight and turned it around about a year and a half ago
