About me:  Recovering perfectionist, Type 1 diabetic, wife to my awesome hubby of almost 20 years, "mother" to 4 dogs and 1 cat. Why do I run:  I like being outdoors, and running is a good excuse to do that. It also burns a lotta calories for the time spent and provides a competitive (with myself) outlet! Why I started running:  Was exploring different forms of exercise a few years ago, and just liked the way it made me feel.
