About me:  I'm the short-legged guy in the black shorts who makes jokes at the starting line and just runs steady through the whole race. Going to do the NYC Marathon in November, looking for another to run in July as a warm-up. Why do I run:  Nothing makes me feel better about life than to be out in the weather on the roads. My energy soars as I get off of the morning subway to start my run and it stays that way all day. Why I started running:  I stopped for ten years and gained about eighty pounds, so I started again and fifty-three of those pounds are gone for good.
