About me:  I'm a trail runner who has found a home away from the roads. I like the solitude and the time to enjoy nature and God. Why do I run:  Running is spiritual for me. The hours on the trails gives me time to get things straight in my head and to follow the scripural direction to "be still and know that I am God" Why I started running:  I hit an all time heavy weight in 2000, and decided to start running. Within a year, I was running a marathon a month and looking for more. I found a 50K on a great trail near Tyler, TX and fell in love with ultras and haven't looked back!
