Why do I run: Lose Weight, train for Pikes Peak Ascent, improve fitness, get faster |
Why I started running: I initially started running when my weight ballooned up 10 pounds in about a month, it was a wake-up call that I was totally going the wrong way in diet and fitness and needed to change something. I chose to run for two reasons, one is that it gives the most bang for your buck in terms of cal/hr; but the bigger reason was to help build endurance for golf; a big deal for someone who plays competitively, especially 36 hole tournaments.
