About me:  36 Yr Old Family Man Accountant Christian That about does it Why do I run:  To lose weight. I need to lose 30 lbs. Also, it is the less of the two evils between running and the gym. I HATE the going to the gym. Why I started running:  I first started running to race in HS...I ran Mid Distance (mile was 4:37, half 1:58, 1/4 :49 - this was split time in mile relay - I never ran it on my on) Later in life became sedentary and weight piled on. Now I run to lose weight.
