About me:  I work for the state of Alaska inspecting landfills. I love to run, bike, swim, hike, kayak and do anything outside. My kids are adults now and my quality of life here in Juneau, AK rocks. I'm married to a great guy and this is the greatest time in my life. Why do I run:  I enjoy it most of the time and it's a great way to stay fit. Plus, it's a great way to meet fabulous people. It defines who I am. Why I started running:  I had a boss that asked me if I wanted to run with him during lunch. I was 28 and invincible and thought why not. I borrowed some shoes from a co-worker and 3.5 miles later, I was sick to my stomach but hooked on running.
