I live in North-west Texas and work at a local hospital. My other hobbies besides running are scuba diving (recently went to Bonaire and Cozumel), traveling, cooking, playing with my nieces and nephews and acting like a kid, watching football games (Go Texas Tech!)
Why do I run: 
I run for health, mentally and physically. It is a time where I can do lots of thinking and see how far I can push myself. Oh yeah, and so I can look hot in all those cute running clothes :)
Why I started running: 
I started running because I love the feeling and accomplishment of improving my body. I keep running because I see many patients' health dwindling because of their unhealthy lifestyles.
