About me: 
I have been running since I was 9 years old. I ran my first 10k at that age and continue to run today. I run more for fun and not so much competively as I once did. I ran for Emporia State University when I was in college here in Kansas.
Why do I run: 
It is good exercise and I have met a lot of people through running, in fact I keep in touch more with the people that I ran against than my HS classmates.
Why I started running: 
My dad was a cross country coach and I always wanted to go running with him but he would tell me that they were going too far and too fast so I could not go. I started training then and really enjoyed it.
