About me: 
I am from Michigan originally but have lived in Virginia, Philadelphia, East Lansing (Spartan Graduate - Two Degrees) and now live on Martha's Vineyard, MA. I am married to an incredible women and have two great kids, boy and girl.
Why do I run: 
Health, freedom, and an investment in my future. It reduces stress, allows me to eat and drink well, and good friendships are all part of the package. Favorite saying: Take it to the streets and make it real!
Why I started running: 
I started running at 19 to get in better shape - a girlfriend was a marathoner at the time. I played Ultimate Frisbee competitively through College and after. I resumed running after graduate school but stopped for awhile. Started up again in 1998, and have not stopped since. Looking back , ultimate was the hardest endurance wise, a marathon is cake compared to 4 games in one afternoon! Coffee and Donuts, thats what you get.
