Not looking to get away from Motion control ,but might buzz by the NB outlet .So is there a similar shoe in the recent past from them I might like ? 580 looked retro ,but a posible try ?Thanks

thanks zoom ,was looking for older models that I might find at the outlet ,but I'm going to try thier newer stuff too.I like the toe box shape that New Balance uses .Had gotten some 740's of f a clearance rack ,stability I think .Fit of foot was great ,roll did bother my IT band a little ,so just use them for short days /banging around stuff .But makes me want to look deeper at N/B . thanks .

Joe's New Balance Outlet has the NB 1223's for $67.49....such a deal! Motion control and stability and originally around $134. Or, you could spring for the updated model, the 1224's.
