Inov-8 Oroc: spike length (Read 13 times)

Hi.

I've just received a pair of Inov-8 Oroc with metal spikes. The spikes look too short for me. They are hardly protruding from the rubber sole, perhaps a 0.5mm or less. I don't know if it's typical for the model or if something's wrong with my pair of shoes. Is it ok? Is it enough to work well on ice?
