Forums >Look What I Can Do!>Logged first 1000 miles
When I entered my run in my log yesterday I noticed that I finally broke the 1000 mile mark. It took 14 months but now at age 43 I'm pretty happy about it. In the previous 25 years I may have run 100 miles.
Does this mean I'm finally a runner?
I'm looking forward to 1000 miles plus in the next 12 months!

The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

This morning I just managed to scrape in my 1000 miles for the year after suffering two separate injuries during the year so I suppose on balance I should be happy
Old age is when you move from illegal to prescribed drugs.
