Is anyone here running the Tokyo marathon in March? I just got an email this morning telling me I'd been accepted in the lottery (30,000 accepted out of 226,378 applicants).

Next race: Acura 5k (July 19) Why practice running slow? It comes naturally!

that's wonderful! out of 50 of my friends, only one got accepted for the 2009 race in march. what is even more incredible is that he got selected for the 3rd straight year in a row. i ran the race this year in february, it was the best marathon ever! i didn't win a spot for next year's race, so i have decided to run nagano marathon in april 2009. you will have a great time. good luck with your training!

next race SHONAN MARATHON nov 3rd, 2012, OSAKA MARATHON nov 25th, i am aiming for nyc!
