...otherwise known as "I just ran further/longer than I ever did as a HS track athlete." I still poked along, but I did 5 miles in an hour. And it felt good...I never once felt any pain or need to stop. The weather was perfect, which I'm sure helped. Woot, that was fun! Big grin k

It really does--though I may not be saying that tomorrow AM--I am already stiffening up a bit. I think I may be a bit achey tomorrow. Good thing I'm not planning another run until Fri., LOL! Wink k

W00T--just had another good run. One of my fastest. I'm still no hyper-endurance speed-demon, but I can definitely tell that my work is paying off. That 3.7 miles felt really good...I did almost the same route that Eryn and I ran 2 weeks ago, only faster and I didn't once feel icky (granted, it is about 20+ degrees cooler and less humid, but still). Signed, the girl who used to hate running more than a couple of laps...

Yeah...it's cool when I'm running along and come to a point and think to myself "gee, that's where I used to turn around to go back home only a month or two ago," and it's barely a mile from my starting point. Smile k

I started running on a treadmill, and was ECSTATIC when I reached the point where I could run for 3 minutes (yes, read: MINUTES) straight! And when I hit 10 minutes? Heaven! Now that my runs are a lot longer, I don't pay as much attention to every minute, so it catches me by surprise when I realize, "Hey! I just ran (slowly) for two hours and I'm not exhausted!"
