Alberto Salazar Hit With Doping Ban (Read 280 times)

I'm back on the boards for this year after 5 years absence...I totally forgot about him....OMG...good times.

as a noob here, I started debating his claims, which are totally ridiculous if you have even entry level knowledge of physiology and kinesiology. That was a year or so ago. Thanks to messages from old timers, now I know to avoid direct contact because it's useless to point out the flaws in his logic, he's SO invested in them.

They will, once they build the course at a 7% incline and make you carry 135lbs.

The Army running team is a fast track to US citizenship and the Olympic games for second tier Kenyan athletes. They'll likely never have to serve in conflict but will compete in races representing the US, and win us some medals. Smile

Anyway, now that Worlds are over, we're seeing the media outlets start to release all their articles and dirt on Saladbar.

Sad but true. And Ed Cheserek is struggling to get USA citizenship for the same reason. 12 NCAA champion titles, fastest mile in the world last year, tied the 5k road world record this year, and probably can't make the Kenyan olympic team.

                Biomimeticist

Being the running Jesus is a hard path.

I'm not a Jesus. I saved the US Army 3.9 million dollars they were wasting every year in worthless biomechanic research in weapons development. Everything I teach combat training leaders I've listed here. That's the joke of it for me. Everyone asks me for proof, and yet nobody has mentioned either the oxygen consumption comparison, force plate measurement comparison, or the 3-D biomarker comparison in physical displacement?

The hard science measurements of what I teach have been validated.

So has Salazar's idiocy. If you aren't smart enough to figure out why, you shouldn't be given out running advice...

And the best part is that you can tell everyone else that you aren't running like an ostrich, but like a SEAL...

Experts said the world is flat

Experts said that man would never fly

Experts said we'd never go to the moon

Name me one of those "experts"...

History never remembers the name of experts; just the innovators who had the guts to challenge and prove the "experts" wrong

I think typing this response was a waste of finger movement.

The joke of everyone is that Salazar is a complete fraud, and with that so are the barfers of advice who post here. Because the sad reality is that none of you know any more than Alberto does. Nobody runs faster from your advice (unless they were really pathetic to begin with). In his own words he admits he can't teach anyone to run faster either.

What you call an idol, I call a fool.

Oh, and since I haven't written here for awhile, I thought to update you on what I've been doing...

In 2015 I saved the US Army $3.9 million they were wasting on useless biomechanic weapon research every year.

In 2015 I presented my research work with the Army at Ft. Leavenworth

In 2016 I was invited as a training and technology advisor to General HR. McMaster.

In 2017 I was invited to Ft. McNair to attend my first Army advisory meeting

In 2017 I was asked by the US Marines to rewrite their training manuals to include what I teach

In 2018 I was nominated by the Army's Futures Command for a RAND Corporation grant to pursue my training research for them

In 2018 I was invited by the director of combat training for SEAL Team 6 to teach what I demonstrated to Salazar.

During that demonstration the lab testing produced data tracking the improvements in oxygen consumption, force plate comparison, and motion capture using digitally recorded body markers do measure reduction in wasted body movement.

Today, I'm making the arrangements to teach the first pilot class with the Marines.

I don't have to drug anyone. I can teach anyone to run faster. And when you can teach a Soldier carrying 135lbs of equipment and record a heart rate at 7% incline on a treadmill lower than at 0%, your military credibility is without question.

Funny that military orthopedic surgeons, combat training specialists, and individuals who make life or death training decisions can figure out what I teach works, but every idiot runner I've ever met of course thinks they know more. So unless you can tell me how I do it, you'll understand why Salazar walked out of the room on me when I demonstrated that better running techniques exist.

He preferred to destroy careers than let anyone else prove they know more than he does.

Because if you think in the same position you wouldn't dope your athletes to improve endurance, unless you can tell everyone what you know that Salazar doesn't, by all means, our military forces would love to hear from you...

In the mean time, he's a coward. The truth is all it takes to prove it. Not to mention what he knows is just as useless as the advice you give.

Many of us aren't sure what the hell point you are trying to make and no matter how we guess, it always seems to be something else. Which usually means a person is doing it on purpose.

After learning about all that money you saved the Army I now want to learn science technology and run like I'm a Seal in the Navy. Yes, you can put your mind at ease because I've began to make my dreams all come true by studying the finer details of SEAL land movement in the Navy. Studying oceanography I've learned when Seals are at full speed the employ a rhythmic wave like thrust to forward locomotion in the Navy. After a several hours of sports and skin diving I think I've developed near perfect biomimicry of Seals in the Navy. I've included a small clip below of myself at full speed. Can't you see I'm now as fast as any Seal in the Navy. You will also note I'm carrying at least 100 pounds of extra baggage. It doesn't slow me one bit because I'm running like a Seal in the Navy.

The jester justs sets themself up for brutal criticism by making ridiculous claims. There is no point in entering debate because the mental/emotional state of the jester excludes logic and only seeks to validate their magical thinking in order to portray themselves as superior.
