>Look What I Can Do!>Run for the Red 5k Fort Knox
My son and I are running the the Run for the Red at Fort Knox Saturday the 12th. Its our second 5k together. He runs for his high school team and wants to run a sub 20. I want to stay within five minutes of his time. Our times in the last 5K was 20:22 and 25:35. We need wager suggestions. I think if I stay within 5 minutes of his time he should have to mow the grass until our next 5K.
5k 22:22, Quarter Marathon 52:45, Mini Duathlon 1:00:14
an amazing likeness
Shouldn't he be mowing the grass anyway? Shoot for something beyond the routine, like...what about a weekly wash your car...or find the thing you like doing the least and have him take it over.
I've done my best to live the right way. I get up every morning and go to work each day. (for now)
He Ran a 20:08 and I ran a 24:26. Beat my goal by more than 30 seconds.
