The charge on my card showed last year when I got rejected. It showed up and then went away a few days later. I think they do that to verify a valid card.

I believe I've read that you can improve your seeding after registration. Is that true? I tried googling but all of the BAA FAQ links are broken that would seem to discuss this.

Yes. I believe they send reminders too. I think you can update until February (don't quote me on that).
I registered as well. I don't intend to run right now, but I tend to change my mind about these things, and it's just too far out right now to be sure that I don't want to run it.

I'll be registering today for Boston #3! It took me six marathons (and 9 years!) to qualify the first time, and my experience totally lived up to my high expectations! Do you have a link? I really liked the old RW Boston forum as it really helped me prep for my first time!

Registered this morning for the BQ-5 group!
My issue now is that they didn't have my race in their database. It was a very small race and last year was the first year they held a marathon (it had been only a half for a long time). But they made a big deal about being a Boston qualifier and getting their USATF certification number. So I assume it is legit. It better be. On the registration form, it has me input the race website and upload a finisher certificate. Which for this race was a link to Athlinks.
Anyone have any any experience with how this works?
