    Not dead. Yet.

Add in some Greensky Bluegrass and maybe some Keller Williams and it would be awesome!!!

Thanks for the tip!  I almost added a Keller Williams... LOL.  I don't know him that well to be honest, but I really like a few of his.  Need to explore his music more.  And looking at Greensky Bluegrass now.  They kick ass so far.  w00t!

How can we know our limits if we don't test them?

In general I don’t run with music while I’m training for something but if I’m just doing easy base mileage these are the 10 I’m most happy to have come on:

        1)   Run To The Hills – Iron Maiden (mostly because the name aptly describes what I am usually doing at the time the song comes on)

        2)   Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangster – Geto Boys (do I get more or less street cred because I know about this one from Office Space)

        3)   Chameleon – Maynard Ferguson

        4)   For Whom The Bell Tolls – Metallica

        5)   Check Your Time – Westbound Train

        6)   Keep My Grave Open – Sentenced

        7)   Jump Around – House of Pain (I went to RPI for college but in some ways I will always be a Badger)

        8)   http://www.badgerbadgerbadger.com/ (I’m dating myself with this link, and no, I don't actually have this on my ipod)

        9)   Mr Brownstone – Guns N’ Roses (who doesn’t see the similarity between distance running and heroin)

        10) Breaking The Law – Judas Priest (but only if I’m running next to the train tracks in Chicago)

          Some new purchases:

I Love It - Icona Pop (This song is awful.  But, "I don't care!  I love it!").

          Radioactive - Imagine Dragons

I Will Wait - Mumford and Sons

Little Talks - Of Monsters and Men

I haven't read the other replies yet, so this may have been mentioned already. Alice Cooper's "Hello, Hooray" is great to run to. It does start slow, but when he says, "I feel so strong, I'm so strong", I swear I can run forever.
