Sure! There’s a good chance you walk faster than I “run.” Welcome!

zoom,
thanks for the welcome.
not sure if i can walk faster than you run, though. i have a feeling that my pace is even slower than the warm up or cool down of many people here.
cheers.
an amazing likeness

Not relevant. Everybody's mile (km) is the same distance. Keep on going...
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
milktruck,
thanks for the boost. yup, a mile is a mile regardless of who you are or where you are. a low-mileage walker here. my doc says it's enough for my needs, though.

Due to some health issues I can't run but I walk ultra distances. I just find events with longer cutoffs or are walker friendly. Walking has some serious health benefits and is low impact. Good job!
dhuffman63,
thanks for replying. got some concerns as well. my doc says to do aerobic activity, though not to overdo things.
