If I am training for a particular event, I tend to use the Runners World Pace calculator found at :
http://www.runnersworld.com/tools/training-paces-calculator
But if I've not got a big event in mind then I will just run Kenyan. As in, I'll just run as I feel, slowing down or speeding up depending on how I feel that particular moment.
6:30 to 9:00 pace with almost all at 8:30 +/-15 seconds. Not enough variation, I think. Favorite pace would be about 7:00-7:30 after I'm warmed up. Seems like I could go for a very long time running and feeling good at that pace.
