DOUBLED My Mileage From Last Year (Read 971 times)

This past week, my mileage for this year has just doubled my mileage from last year....

    Thats right...last year I ran 791 miles

This year I have logged  1597 (so far) but there are basically two months to go.....

I'm feeling pretty good about this statistic....

Awesome John!!!  I am trying for a similar results myself next year.

      So bittersweet,
      This tragedy
      Won't ask for absolution;
      This melody,
      Inside of me,
      Still searches for solution.
      A twist of faith,
      A change of heart
      Cures my infatuation.
      A broken heart,
      Provides the spark
      For my determination.

        Great Job John!

With 2 months to go you should be good for another 300+ and 1900 total??  You have been steady like a rock the last 6 - 9 months!

Me I am shooting for 1600 , which should be probably Triple last year. Not really sure as did not track, but given could not run 3 mi until March 08, ran for a good 7 months (back then I though 3 days a week was a lot and 4 was just crazy), then on IR Nov/Dec ... 500 is probably generous.

Good going! You're my role model.

That's really excellent stuff John, I think consistency is the biggest key to improving performance and avoiding injury.  Keep up the great work!

It's probably loosely connected to these statistics.

You are right, but I have to be honest, I'm thinking I can improve on those particular statistics just a bit over the next few months......least I'm planning on it......

Nicely done, John.  Now the real question is: can you double it again by next year?

                            Heh heh.

Think that would be pushing it just a little bit  --- I'm thinking more in the neighborhood of 2,000 next year....probably a more reasonable goal for me.......
