Garmin Training Plans/Cadence Drill Question (Read 33 times)

    Hi, I am fairly new to running and I'm in the middle of a Garmin 5k training plan I've selected Jeff Galloway as my coach for the program.

    But I am not sure if I'm doing the cadence drill workouts correctly. After the 15 minute warm-up, the directions on my watch are "run until lap press",

    does this mean I am to run until my watch shows I've completed a 1-mile lap then to press the lap button so I can start my 4, 30-second cadence drills/recoverys,

    or am I supposed to press the lap button as soon as my warm-up is complete to start the cadence drills/recoverys? I would appreciate

    any advice about this. THANK YOU!

      When you press lap, you are telling the Garmin your warmup is done and it should start the structured workout. So, option "B" in your two scenarios.

      I've done my best to live the right way. I get up every morning and go to work each day.
