23 miles..longest ever! (Read 516 times)

I ran 23 miles today with my group! I feel great too.  I do the galloway program and seriously just love the run/walk.  I dont think I'd ever get mileage like that without this group.  We did have to slow down big time at mile 19 because one of the guys got real sick. I felt pretty bad, but we could not just leave him.  I don't even care about the time....I am just happy I was able to cover that many miles!

That's one amazing training run.  20 is a major challenge...but 23.  That give you a lot of confidence.  Race day won't be any stretch for you, especially after a taper.

She was not strong. She was valiant. Radiant. Brave and broken. The beauty she discovered in the aftermath was unparalleled to anything she had known before, because it had come at such a cost.
