Running Goals ... Marathon # 2 coming up in May 2014

"It matters not how straight the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll.  I am the master of my fate;  I am the captain of my soul."  William Ernest Henley

Nice short film - I could see myself watching a longer version of that. Loved the fast old man running - reminds me of myself, except I don't have the hair anymore and he's a year or two older...

        Interval Junkie --Nobby

When the guy is asked who is favorite person in the world is: he turns directly to the camera and answers his dad.

Visually, I found that incredibly powerful.  It was so unflinching.

2014 Goals:  sub-3 Marathon ("Congrats! It's tough to race with poop in the mind" --Wing)

Current Status 03/17: Drinking beer and eating crap -- all the things I couldn't do before the marathon

I enjoyed it as well. Here's an interesting post related to the film...

By chance, was that in a park you use for runs and did you see this in process?

I have run in Victoria park but not for awhile - I do recognise the quick old guy though, I've definitely run past him before.

I can imagine to watch a 10-minute episode every day. It is so interesting. Everyone has his/her own real unique story.
