Did I have plantar fascitis and not know it? (Read 561 times)

I just read Run to Win's latest common injuries newsletter (
here
), and it made me wonder if I haven't just gone through a bout of plantar fascitis without knowing it. About four weeks ago, I went for a run and had a sudden onset bruised feeling on the ball of my right foot. My shoes had 370 miles on them, so I chalked it up to a shoe problem. I've taken the weeks since off due to the birth of my son and the accompanying lack of sleep that goes with it. In the meantime, I've gotten a new pair of shoes (NB 1062) that I am dying to try out, but I haven't had a good opportunity yet as life with a 3 week old and a 5yo is proving pretty hectic. However, when going on our evening family stroll, I do still occasionally feel a bruised feeling in the same spot on the ball of my left foot, even in my new shoes. Does this sound like a case of plantar fascitis, or is there something else that I could have done?
