Is this something we can do each month?

To paraphrase an old poster: Today is the first day of the rest of your training. It doesn’t matter where you started or how far you’ve come. Today is the day. Your training didn’t start 6 weeks ago. Your training started the last time you hit the road. John “the Penguin” Bingham Life is not tried, it is merely survived if you're standing outside the fire

remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.

Sounds like it! And it gives me a goal to shoot for in a few weeks. This is still very new to me and the goals help. Puting down on a bb for others to see helps keep me on track. I found that true walking the mini this year! There are a lot of walkers there and and everyone supported everyone else. It must have worked as more than 35k people started (the Indy One America is the worlds largest half marathon) and more than 27k finished.

Next month's is Aug 5-6. I'm trying to make it the first weekend every month so people will know when to plan for. Look forward to seeing you there! And if you have any suggestions (or would like to "make" the refreshments or packet or what-not!) let me know! See you there!
